Job Purpose

We are seeking a skilled Embedded Software Test Designer to join our team at Dana Senioreneinrichtung GmbH. As a key member of our verification and validation department, you will work closely with product development teams to ensure the highest quality of our software products.

Key Responsibilities

Our ideal candidate will have a strong background in software testing methodologies, including ASPICE/ISO 26262. Key responsibilities will include:

  • Analyzing and developing test scripts and test cases according to industry standards
  • Conducting qualification tests and regression testing on HIL benches
  • Updating models and preparing documentation for test bench set-ups
  • Participating in team reviews and ensuring test cases are created or revised for current release plans
  • Supporting cross-functional teams in development and system engineering
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor or Master's degree in Mechatronics, Electronics, or a related field
  • 6-8 years of relevant experience in software testing, preferably in the automotive sector
  • Experience with dSPACE tools and Python scripting
  • Knowledge of automotive communication tools and protocols
Preferred Skills

We also welcome candidates with experience in:

  • Automated test case development for software qualification
  • Calibration tools from Vector/ETAS/ATI
  • NI Tools (LabView, TestStand, VeriStand)
  • ALM tools (Polarion, Doors, PTC Integrity)
