Job Summary

Contribute to the development of innovative Powertrain solutions as an Environmental Test Designer at Dana Incorporated.

Key Responsibilities

As a member of the Engineering department, you will be responsible for conducting tests on our electric motorization systems. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and performing product verification and validation tests to ensure the highest quality standards.
  • Preparing test setups and instrumentation to simulate real-world conditions.
  • Carrying out tests, analyzing results, recording and processing data to inform product improvements.
  • Writing comprehensive test reports in English and French.
  • Participating in the resolution of technical problems related to products and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Maintaining expertise in computer tools and software.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or a DEC in technical disciplines.
  • 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in electrical validation and environmental testing.
  • Experience with electrical validation and environmental testing (e.g., salt spray, water immersion, vibration, heat, intense cold, etc.).
  • A C license (asset).
  • A sense of rigor and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Fluency in English and French (spoken and written).
