Job Purpose

As an Environmental Test Designer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our cutting-edge electric motor systems. You will contribute to the development process by conducting rigorous environmental and electrical tests, ultimately helping us deliver exceptional products for the vehicles of tomorrow.

Your Responsibilities

  • Design and execute product verification and validation tests to assess the performance and durability of our electric motors under various conditions.
  • Set up comprehensive test environments, including instrumentation and control systems, to accurately measure and record data.
  • Conduct meticulous testing procedures, analyze the collected data, and generate detailed reports documenting your findings in both French and English.
  • Collaborate with engineers and technicians to identify and resolve technical challenges related to product performance and reliability.
  • Utilize advanced computer tools and software to manage test data, analyze results, and create comprehensive reports.

Your Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical or mechanical engineering or an equivalent DEC in a technical discipline.
  • 5 to 10 years of proven experience in conducting environmental and electrical testing, preferably within the automotive industry.
  • Strong understanding of test methodologies, data analysis techniques, and reporting standards.
  • Proficiency in using computer-aided design (CAD) software and other relevant engineering tools.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
