Customer Service Representative

As a Customer Care Advisor in Investments, you will play a vital role in the success of the Specialized Wealth Management Department in Canada. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the execution and delivery of specific individual goals, plans, and initiatives in support of the team's business strategies and objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-level customer service to existing customers through outbound calls regarding their investment accounts.
- Champion a customer-focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems, and knowledge.
- Develop and maintain a detailed knowledge base and understanding of assigned products, services, and digital channels.
- Accurately resolve customer problems within approved authority limits or refer to the appropriate source.
- Recognize and act on opportunities for business retention and reinforce the customer relationship with the Bank.
- Develop effective questioning skills to gather customer information accurately and comprehensively.
Requirements:
- Currently pursuing or intending to obtain CSC, IFIC, and IFSE certifications.
- Knowledge of regulations and standards governing the mutual fund industry, including Scotia Securities Inc. and MFDA policies, is an asset.
- Previous experience in customer service or sales roles.
- Strong communication, active listening, and experience working in a fast-paced results-focused environment.
- Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent.
