Position Overview:

The Senior Autism Tutor plays a pivotal role in delivering services aligned with the mission and values of St.Amant. This position emphasizes a commitment to client-centered care, ensuring adherence to corporate policies and external regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with the Autism Consultant, actively participating in quality improvement initiatives and contributing to the development of service goals and standards.
  • Utilize feedback from service evaluations to enhance the quality of care provided to clients and their families.
  • Engage in direct and mediated service delivery within an interdisciplinary team, focusing on skill development for clients and their caregivers through applied behavior analysis.
  • Maintain professionalism and integrity in all interactions, while committing to ongoing professional development and education.

Qualifications:

Educational:

  • Bachelor's degree in Psychology or equivalent coursework in Applied Behavior Analysis.
  • Current First Aid and CPR certifications.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Preferred certification as a Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA).

Professional:

  • Fluency in French is essential.
  • Experience working with children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).

Personal Attributes:

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work flexibly and adapt to varying schedules.
  • Demonstrated capacity for teamwork and conflict resolution.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license and willingness to travel as needed.
