About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Behaviour Analyst to join our team at St.Amant. As an Autism Consultant, you will play a critical role in providing services to individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement comprehensive ABA program plans that meet the unique needs of each child, working closely with families and support networks.
  • Conduct behavioral assessments and develop, monitor, and evaluate programs to increase adaptive behavior and decrease challenging behaviors.
  • Participate in reviews and IEP team meetings to ensure effective communication and coordination of ABA interventions.
  • Provide consultative and mediated services to clients, families, and support staff, offering regular feedback and training to enhance their skills.
  • Collaborate with program managers to develop and implement orientation and ongoing training for autism tutors and senior tutors, focusing on ABA training and skills development.
  • Identify trends in services and recommend improvement strategies to enhance client outcomes.
  • Make home visits and off-site visits to provide necessary supports and services to clients who require them.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Psychology with specialization in Applied Behaviour Analysis.
  • Behavior Analyst Board certification (BACB) or application for certification within the first year of work.
  • Fluency in the French language is an asset.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment, with strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
  • Valid Manitoba driver's license and a vehicle, with the ability to travel throughout the province.
  • Physical ability to perform the duties of the position.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Minimum of one year experience designing and implementing Autism programs for children diagnosed with ASD.
  • Knowledge of the structure of services for people with disabilities in Manitoba.
  • Efficient in the design and implementation of behavioral interventions.
  • Knowledgeable and proficient with various standardized assessment tools, functional analysis, behavioral assessment techniques, and interpretation of assessment results.
  • Ability to create data collection systems and analyze information obtained.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of behavior analysis theory and practice relevant to the support, assessment, and treatment of children with developmental disabilities.
