ETL Quality Assurance Specialist

Vantix Systems Inc is in search of a dedicated Quality Assurance Analyst to enhance our analytics projects and support various initiatives within the Data Management Program (DMP).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing comprehensive test plans and scripts.
  • Assessing ETL processes utilized for generating data sets aimed at self-service and analytics.
  • Evaluating business intelligence dashboards and analytical outputs.
  • Reviewing data quality rules and data cleansing procedures.
  • Documenting all testing outcomes meticulously.

Essential Skills:

  • Proficient in crafting test scripts with defect management tools, such as HP Application Lifecycle Management.
  • Expertise in test planning methodologies.
  • Understanding of ETL processes within data pipelines.
  • Experience in formulating and executing SQL queries.
  • Familiarity with best practices and standards in business intelligence, analytics, and data visualization.
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies.
  • Strong multitasking abilities with a capacity to adapt to shifting priorities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team or independently as required.
  • Effective time management skills with minimal supervision.
  • Capability to handle stress in a fast-paced environment with high expectations and tight deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Business Intelligence Tools.
  • Data Analysis skills.
  • Basic understanding of data quality dimensions.
  • Excellent organizational skills with a focus on accuracy and detail.
  • Familiarity with test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium with C#).
  • Experience with Team Foundation Server (TFS) – Kanban.
  • Knowledge of pension administration.
  • Experience with SQL Server.
