Position Overview

Vantix Systems Inc is in search of a skilled Quality Assurance Analyst to provide contracting services that will enhance our analytics projects and support our Data Management Program (DMP).

Key Responsibilities

The responsibilities of this role encompass, but are not limited to:

  1. Developing comprehensive test plans and scripts.
  2. Validating ETL processes utilized for generating data sets for analytics and self-service.
  3. Assessing business intelligence dashboards and analytical outputs.
  4. Verifying data quality rules and cleansing scripts.
  5. Documenting all test outcomes meticulously.
Essential Skills

Proficiency in SQL, Test Script Development, and ETL processes.

Contractual Engagement

Required Qualifications
  1. Proven experience in writing test scripts using defect management tools, such as HP Application Lifecycle Management.
  2. Expertise in test planning methodologies.
  3. Understanding of ETL applications within data pipelines.
  4. Experience in crafting and executing SQL queries.
  5. Familiarity with best practices and standards in business intelligence, analytics, and data visualization.
  6. Knowledge of Agile methodologies.
  7. Strong ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to shifting priorities.
  8. Capability to work collaboratively within a team or independently as required.
  9. Efficient time management skills with minimal supervision.
  10. Ability to thrive under pressure in a fast-paced environment with high expectations.
Preferred Qualifications
  1. Experience with Business Intelligence Tools.
  2. Data Analysis expertise.
  3. Basic understanding of data quality dimensions.
  4. Strong organizational skills with a focus on accuracy and detail.
  5. Familiarity with test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium with C#).
  6. Experience with Team Foundation Server (TFS) – Kanban.
  7. Knowledge of pension administration.
  8. Experience with SQL Server.
Work Environment

This position offers a flexible work environment.

Compensation

Hourly rate is negotiable based on experience.
