ETL Quality Assurance Specialist

Position Overview: Vantix Systems Inc is in search of a skilled Quality Assurance Analyst to enhance our analytics projects and support the Data Management Program (DMP).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing comprehensive test plans and detailed test scripts.
  • Validating ETL processes that generate data sets for analytics and self-service applications.
  • Assessing business intelligence dashboards and analytical outputs.
  • Ensuring the integrity of data quality rules and data cleansing scripts.
  • Documenting all testing outcomes thoroughly.

Required Skills:

  • Proven experience in crafting test scripts utilizing defect management tools, such as HP Application Lifecycle Management.
  • Expertise in test planning methodologies.
  • Understanding of ETL processes within data pipelines.
  • Proficient in creating and executing SQL queries.
  • Familiarity with best practices and standards in business intelligence, analytics, and data visualization.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies.
  • Exceptional multitasking abilities, capable of adapting to shifting priorities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team or independently as required.
  • Strong time management skills with minimal supervision.
  • Capacity to handle stress in a fast-paced environment with high expectations and tight deadlines.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with Business Intelligence Tools.
  • Data Analysis capabilities.
  • Understanding of fundamental data quality dimensions.
  • Strong organizational skills with a focus on accuracy and detail.
  • Knowledge of test automation frameworks, such as Selenium with C#.
  • Familiarity with Team Foundation Server (TFS) and Kanban methodologies.
  • Background in pension administration.
  • Experience with SQL Server.
