Floor Maintenance Technician Job Overview

Are you seeking a fulfilling opportunity as a Floor Maintenance Technician? Join our dedicated Special Services Team and take charge of implementing floor maintenance programs as part of a comprehensive preventative upkeep strategy. Your role will be crucial in ensuring that service standards are upheld by executing tasks as planned.

As a Floor Maintenance Technician, flexibility in work hours and locations is essential, including the possibility of night shifts and varying schedules. It is common to switch between day and night shifts within the same week, and working in limited spaces may be required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Hold a valid Class G driver's license
  • Skillfully operate a van with an equipment trailer
  • Demonstrate experience in floor refinishing, waxing, and buffing
  • Conduct carpet and upholstery extraction cleaning
  • Exhibit expertise in power washing and high dusting
  • Perform detailed cleaning across various environments
  • Show proficiency in hard surface cleaning and floor maintenance tools
  • Ensure equipment is maintained in optimal working order
  • Achieve eligibility for security clearance
  • Respond promptly to management requests
  • Maintain professionalism while interacting with clients
  • Exhibit strong communication skills in English
  • Be proactive in assisting clients and guests
  • Efficiently report incidents and maintenance concerns
  • Adhere to safety protocols and company guidelines
