Production Coordinator

About This Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Production Coordinator to join our team at CAE. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for planning and coordinating the production process to ensure timely and efficient delivery of our products.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement production plans to meet customer demands and production schedules.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, purchasing, and manufacturing, to ensure smooth production processes.
- Monitor and analyze production data to identify bottlenecks and areas for improvement.
- Implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
- Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
- Provide training and support to production team members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their jobs effectively.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.
- Develop and implement corrective action plans to address any quality or safety issues.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as engineering, operations management, or supply chain management.
- At least 2 years of experience in a production planning or coordination role.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Experience with production planning software and systems.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
