About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Supervisor to join our team at Fresh Prep. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the production process, ensuring efficiency and productivity, and driving continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of production teams, including ingredient portioning and finished product assembly.
  • Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity.
  • Manage employee performance, provide coaching and training, and conduct performance evaluations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including purchasing, production, quality assurance, and human resources.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct incident investigations and implement corrective actions.
  • Manage budgets and KPIs for production departments.
Requirements
  • 3 years of experience in a production or manufacturing environment, with a focus on productivity and process improvement.
  • 2 years of experience in supervising and mentoring direct reports.
  • Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma experience is an asset.
  • Automated processing, production, and/or packaging line experience is an asset.
