Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Baker - Pastry Specialist to join our team at PAMILYA'S DELIGHTS. As a key member of our bakery team, you will be responsible for preparing and baking a variety of pastries, cakes, and other sweet treats.

Key Responsibilities
  • Preparation and Baking: Prepare dough for pies, bread, rolls, and sweet goods, batters for muffins, cookies, and cakes, and icings and frostings according to recipes or special customer orders.
  • Inventory Management: Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that the quality of products meets established standards by inspecting kitchen and food service areas.
  • Team Leadership: Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food.
  • Special Orders: Prepare special orders and frost and decorate cakes and baked goods as needed.
  • Production Scheduling: Draw up production schedules to ensure efficient use of time and resources.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a bakery or related field.
  • Work Setting: Bake shop environment.
  • Physical Capabilities: Physically demanding, standing for extended periods, and working under pressure.
  • Personal Suitability: Dependability, reliability, team player, and patience.
