Job Description: U.S. Tax Associate

  • Prepare U.S. corporate and partnership income tax returns at both federal and state levels.
  • Prepare individual income tax returns for U.S. citizens residing in Canada and Canadian citizens conducting business in the U.S.
  • Analyze income tax regulations to assess state taxability.
  • Apply relevant sales tax regulations.
  • Evaluate the tax implications associated with specific transactions or contexts.

Requirements

  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Fluent in both English and French.
  • Open-mindedness towards continuous learning.
  • Strong collaborative spirit and ability to work effectively with others.
  • Capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
  • Flexibility and availability are essential.
  • Strong client service orientation and professionalism.
  • Sound judgment and decision-making skills.
  • Intellectual curiosity and creativity.

Preferred Qualifications

  • CPA designation (CA, CGA, or CMA) is advantageous.
