Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Membership Services Senior Representative to join our team at the Shaw Festival Theatre. As a key member of our Membership department, you will play a critical role in generating revenue through donor-centric conversations and building strong relationships with our patrons.

Key Responsibilities
  • Solicit charitable donations in support of the Shaw Festival through outbound communication, including phone calls, emails, and in-person interactions.
  • Maintain exceptional customer service standards, providing strong communication skills, patience, and professionalism to our members and patrons.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the Shaw Festival's mission, programs, and services to effectively engage with donors and build relationships.
  • Meet weekly metric targets in support of Membership's fundraising goals and personal objectives.
  • Utilize Tessitura, our donor management system, to track contacts, coordinate follow-up actions, and document feedback.
  • Process donations and maintain accurate records of patron interactions.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Act as the primary point of contact for Membership services, providing problem-solving support to donors and patrons.
  • Collaborate with Audience Services and Box Office to address Membership-related issues and needs.
  • Lead and assist in Membership events, including hosting post-show chats and other select Shaw events to support revenue targets and patron interaction goals.
Requirements
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with donors and patrons.
  • Excellent customer service skills, with a focus on donor-centric conversations.
  • Knowledge of the arts and arts-based philanthropy, with a passion for theatre and support of artists and arts workers.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Tessitura, with the ability to learn and adapt to new systems and technologies.
