Job Title: Administrative Assistant, Medical

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team at CALEDON DENTAL CENTRE.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate the flow of information and maintain accurate records
  • Schedule and confirm appointments, and maintain a calendar of events
  • Complete insurance and other claim forms, and maintain confidentiality
  • Maintain a filing system, order supplies, and manage inventory
  • Determine and establish office procedures and routines, and ensure compliance with regulations
  • Enter and format electronically based medical reports and correspondence, and prepare spreadsheets and documents for review
  • Initiate and maintain confidential medical files and records, and prepare draft agendas for meetings
  • Perform data entry, provide customer service, and respond to inquiries
Requirements:
  • Computer and technology knowledge, including MS Word, MS Excel, MS Windows, and MS Outlook
  • Area of work experience in contracts, financial statements, invoices, reports and records, and statistics
Security and Safety:
  • Basic security clearance and criminal record check
