About the Job

We are seeking a skilled Concrete Finisher to join our team at Melrose Paving Co. As a Concrete Finisher, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality finish on our concrete projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Concrete Finishing: Fill hollows and remove spots on freshly poured cement, level top surface concrete according to grade and depth specification, and impart desired finish to concrete surfaces using hand and power tools.
  • Installation and Repair: Install anchor bolts, steel plates, door sills, and other fixtures, and repair, resurface, and replace worn or damaged sections of concrete structures.
  • Surface Preparation: Waterproof, damp proof, and restore surfaces, and apply hardening and sealing components to cure surfaces.
Work Environment

As a Concrete Finisher, you will work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions and be exposed to dust and other environmental factors.

Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in concrete finishing or a related field.
  • Physical Demands: Physically demanding, requiring bending, crouching, kneeling, and attention to detail.
