As a key member of the healthcare team, you will work closely with Occupational Therapists and Physiotherapists to assist patients recovering from acute and complex medical conditions. Your role will involve implementing treatment plans under the guidance of therapists, contributing to patient progress and overall well-being.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist occupational therapists and physiotherapists in delivering patient care
  • Implement treatment plans as directed by therapists
  • Provide support to patients during rehabilitation activities
  • Document patient progress and observations accurately
  • Collaborate effectively with the multidisciplinary team
Qualifications:
  • Graduate of a combined OT/PTA Certificate program from an accredited college
  • Minimum one year of experience in an acute care setting preferred
  • Demonstrated proficiency in providing patient care to diverse medical, surgical, neurological, and geriatric populations
  • Strong initiative, flexibility, and a commitment to teamwork
  • Ability to meet the physical demands of a moderately heavy job
  • Excellent verbal communication skills
  • Satisfactory attendance and employment record
