Occupational Therapy Assistant/Physiotherapy Assistant

The Occupational Therapy Assistant/Physiotherapy Assistant will provide support to occupational therapists and physiotherapists in inpatient rehabilitation and complex transitional care units. The successful candidate will assist in progressing patients with acute and complex medical conditions under the supervision of the therapists.
Key Responsibilities- Support occupational therapists and physiotherapists in the rehabilitation process
- Assist in patient assessment and goal setting
- Implement treatment plans and provide patient care
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve patient outcomes
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
The ideal candidate will possess a graduate certificate in occupational therapy and physiotherapy assistance from an accredited college. At least one year of experience in an acute care setting is preferred. The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent patient care skills, initiative, flexibility, and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment.
