Strategic Proposal Development Lead

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Proposal Development Specialist to join our team at Hatch Ltd. as a Proposal Process Manager. As a key member of our Shared Services group, you will play a critical role in supporting the business to achieve its goals through strong technical capabilities.
About the Role
In this integral position, you will provide proposal process leadership on strategic pursuits from receipt through delivery and support of post-submittal deliverables. Your responsibilities will include:
- Developing and implementing the proposal management plan and schedule.
- Organizing and co-chairing proposal kick-off, status updates, content planning, and review meetings.
- Collaborating with the proposal team to confirm delivery of a compliant, clear, and compelling proposal.
- Identifying and escalating issues that may impact the proposal's schedule or quality.
- Reviewing proposal drafts and final versions for responsiveness, compliance, accuracy, quality, and effective layout and design.
- Supporting clarifications and post-bid submission requirements.
- Coordinating post-proposal evaluations and internal debriefs to obtain insights for improving the proposal development process.
- Leading the proposal coordinator and graphic designer during proposal development.
- Training and coaching proposal team members for continual improvement.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A diploma or degree in Business, Communications, or Marketing, or equivalent experience.
- At least 5 years of proposal development experience, including at least 2 years of experience as a proposal manager.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with strong MS Word and PowerPoint skills.
- Knowledge of SharePoint and CRM tools is an asset.
- Working knowledge of the engineering, procurement, and construction management consulting industry is highly desired.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, as well as strong detail orientation, analytical, and general business skills.
- Able to work in a team environment and collaborate on assignments.
- Ability to identify, separate, and delegate work tasks and prioritize them in relation to the overall proposal production.
