Position Overview:

As a Fleet Maintenance Supervisor, you will leverage your exceptional communication, organizational, and multitasking abilities to motivate your team of diesel technicians, foster a positive work environment, and ensure customer satisfaction. Your primary responsibilities will include coordinating, scheduling, and auditing vehicle maintenance tasks, encompassing preventative, mechanical, and electrical repairs for various vehicles.

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM

In this role, you will participate in the recruitment, training, and continuous development of vehicle maintenance technicians, ensuring that our skilled workforce meets the expectations of our clients.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in fleet vehicle maintenance management, with a preference for candidates who have overseen technicians.
  • At least 3 years of team leadership experience in a metrics-driven environment.
This position offers a pathway to advance into a leadership role within the company, and prior mechanical experience is not a requirement.

All new supervisors will undergo a training program designed to equip you with essential skills, including vehicle maintenance technology and effective service department management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prioritize and delegate tasks to meet customer demands

Essential Qualifications:
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • 3-5 years of experience in fleet maintenance management preferred, or at least 3 years of team leadership in a performance-driven setting.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; an Associate's or Technical School degree is preferred.
  • Strong customer service and organizational skills are essential.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Proficiency in computer applications, including Microsoft Office and web-based tools, is preferred.
  • Consistent and reliable attendance is a critical aspect of this role.
  • Willingness to travel as needed within the district for customer visits and training.
