Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the planning and implementation of resident-centered activities and programs that promote socialization, entertainment, and wellness.
  • Collaborate with the community team to ensure a balanced and diverse activity program that meets the needs and interests of our residents.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with local businesses, organizations, and schools to secure volunteer support and resources for activities.
  • Participate in the Quality Assurance (QA) process to ensure that activities and programs meet Sunrise's quality standards.
  • Assist with the recruitment and training of volunteers to support activities and programs.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports of activities and programs, including attendance and feedback.
Requirements
  • One year of experience in a senior living community or a related field.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lead activities and motivate volunteers and team members.
  • Proficiency in computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Sunrise applications.
