Activities Coordinator

Sunrise Senior Living is a leading provider of senior care services, and we're seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Activities Assistant to join our team. As an Activities Assistant, you will play a vital role in creating a engaging and enriching experience for our residents.
Responsibilities- Develop and implement a balanced activity program that meets the diverse needs and interests of our residents, in accordance with Sunrise's quality standards.
- Collaborate with the community team to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations, as well as Sunrise's quality standards.
- Partner with volunteers, local businesses, and organizations to maintain a strong network and promote community engagement.
- Document and track resident information, including physical and behavioral changes, in the Daily Log and Department Log.
- Participate in quality assurance processes to ensure excellent care and service delivery.
- One year of experience in senior living communities, preferably in a similar role.
- Ability to lead activities, motivate volunteers, and facilitate small group presentations.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in computer skills, Microsoft Office, and Sunrise applications.
