About the Role

Amazon's North American Customer Fulfillment (NACF) Finance is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to serve as a trusted finance partner, supporting operational and functional leaders. Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Planning and Analysis
  1. You will develop and maintain financial models and analyses to inform business decisions, using your expertise in financial planning and analysis.
  2. You will manage the development of weekly and monthly financial reviews, forecasting, and reporting models, ensuring timely and accurate delivery to stakeholders.

Business Analysis
  1. You will analyze financial data to identify opportunities for cost savings, process improvements, and revenue growth, working closely with business partners to implement solutions.
  2. You will develop and maintain a deep understanding of Amazon's financial systems and processes, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
  3. You will design and implement financial reporting and modeling solutions to support business decision-making, using data visualization and analytics tools.
People and Collaboration
  1. You will foster a culture of collaboration and open communication, working closely with cross-functional teams to drive business outcomes.

About the Team

The AR Controllership team is a newly formed team that will collaborate with multiple teams and organizations within Amazon. As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the development of this team and establish standards for financial operations and reporting.

Requirements
  1. 3+ years of experience in tax, finance, or a related analytical field.
  2. Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications
  1. 3+ years of experience participating in continuous improvement projects, with a focus on scaling and improving controllership processes.
  2. Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools, such as SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos, and other financial systems.
