The salary range for this position is CAD $38.13/Hr. - CAD $54.82/Hr.

Position Overview

We are seeking a Talent Acquisition Advisor to enhance our recruitment efforts at Vancouver Coastal Health (VCH).

As a key member of the Talent Acquisition Team, you will play a crucial role in attracting top talent to our organization.

This position offers a Hybrid Remote/In-office work arrangement.

Key Responsibilities

Provide expert guidance and develop external recruitment strategies to support VCH's leadership by identifying, sourcing, screening, and qualifying candidates in a competitive landscape. Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective recruitment processes and address staffing needs. Manage the complete recruitment cycle by employing innovative and professional methods, creating tailored advertising materials, and exploring new avenues for candidate outreach. Collaborate with academic institutions, professional associations, and recruitment agencies to maintain a current directory of potential candidates.

Qualifications

Education & Experience

A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration/Commerce with a focus on Human Resources, along with three to five years of recruitment experience in a diverse environment, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Familiarity with modern integrated cloud-based human capital management systems, such as Workday, is preferred.

Skills & Competencies

Ability to cultivate strong relationships with key partners while promoting services with a sensitivity to diversity and an Indigenous perspective. Commitment to recognizing and supporting diversity at all engagement stages, with an understanding of the challenges faced by equity-deserving groups. Proven track record as an innovative and motivated recruiter with strong relationship-building skills. In-depth knowledge of human resources principles, recruitment practices, hiring regulations, and healthcare professional licensing. Extensive experience with LinkedIn Recruiter and various recruitment search methodologies. Strong time management and organizational abilities. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, along with facilitation and influencing capabilities. Proficiency in computer applications, including MS Office, online applicant tracking systems, and human capital management systems, with knowledge of Workday being an asset. Advanced skills in word processing, spreadsheets, presentations, and databases. Represent VCH positively by delivering professional recruitment services to candidates and organizations. Physical capability to fulfill the responsibilities of the role.
