We are seeking a highly skilled Recruitment Specialist to join our team at Canuck Place Children's Hospice. As a key member of our People & Culture team, you will be responsible for managing the entire recruitment cycle, from sourcing and interviewing to onboarding and training.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent
- Collaborate with hiring managers to create job postings, interview questions, and evaluation criteria
- Source and screen candidates, ensuring a diverse and inclusive pool of applicants
- Conduct interviews and assessments to identify the best candidates for each role
- Manage the recruitment process through our Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
- Provide excellent customer service to candidates and hiring managers throughout the recruitment process
- Develop and maintain relationships with external partners and vendors to support recruitment efforts
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in recruitment and talent management
- 3+ years of experience in recruitment or a related field
- Proven track record of success in recruitment, with a focus on diversity and inclusion
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ATS software
