Job Description

Job Title: Security Supervisor

Job Type: Part-Time

Location: Various Sites

Hours: Saturday & Sunday

Pay Rate: $17.00/hr

Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough investigations and prepare incident reports
  • Attend routine site check-ins to ensure security protocols are being followed
  • Respond to alarm calls and perform site and perimeter patrols to maintain a secure environment
  • Provide exceptional customer service to clients and stakeholders
  • Provide relief for other sites as directed by management
  • Perform other duties as required to support the security team
Requirements
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and flexible environment with a high level of professionalism
  • Strong interpersonal skills, flexibility, and customer service orientation
  • Remain calm and effectively perform in emergency situations
  • Able to understand and follow specific instructions and procedures
  • Comfortable working alone and making decisions independently
  • Approach and remove trespassed or suspicious individuals from sites/properties
  • Thoroughly document any incidents during shift
  • Demonstrated punctuality and reliability, tact, and diplomacy
  • Monitor and maintain Mobile vehicle while on shift, and communicate any repairs needed to CSM
Qualifications
  • Minimum 1 year of security experience required
  • 1 year of security supervisor experience preferred
  • Working knowledge of the Trespass to Property Act and Mental Health Act
  • Valid Ontario Security Guard License
  • Must possess a valid G Class Driver's License and a clean driver's abstract
  • Valid First Aid & CPR - Level C certification (from a WSIB-approved vendor)
  • Must be able to provide proof of (minimum) double COVID vaccination
