Security Console Operator

Paladin Security is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Security Console Operator to join our team. As a Security Console Operator, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our clients and their properties.
Key Responsibilities:- Dispatching alarm and occurrence responses in a timely and efficient manner
- Coordinating scheduling changes and book-offs to ensure seamless operations
- Documenting all information into comprehensive reports to maintain accurate records
- Escalating situations to stakeholders as required to ensure effective communication
- Ensuring necessary procedures are followed in the event of emergencies such as bomb threats, fires, and break and enters
- Liaising with local emergency services and client personnel to ensure a coordinated response
- Providing briefings to management, supervisors, and staff as required to maintain situational awareness
- Patrolling and monitoring security systems to identify potential threats
- Experience in a control room environment with CCTV and access card systems
- Valid Security License for the province of Ontario
- Valid First Aid Certificate Level C
- Ability to provide certifications in Use of Force (UoF) and Management of Aggressive Behaviour (MOAB)
- Functional ability with the Windows operating system and Windows Office software such as Excel and Word
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment
- Familiarity with Tracktik is considered an asset
- Superior customer service and professionalism
- Above average English communication skills, both verbal and written; French is considered a strong asset
