Job Title: Security Console Operator

Paladin Security is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Console Operator to join our team. As a Security Console Operator, you will be responsible for dispatching alarm and occurrence responses, coordinating scheduling changes, and documenting all information into comprehensive reports.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Dispatching alarm and occurrence responses
  • Coordinating scheduling changes, book-offs, etc.
  • Documenting all information into comprehensive reports
  • Escalating situations to stakeholders as required
  • Ensuring necessary procedures are followed in the event of emergencies such as bomb threats, fires, and break and enters etc.
  • Liaising with local emergency services and client personnel
  • Providing briefings to management, supervisors and staff as required
  • Patrolling
Requirements:
  • Experience in Control room with CCTV & Access Card System
  • Valid Security License for the province of Ontario
  • Valid (WSIB Approved) First Aid Certificate Level C
  • Must be able to provide certifications in Use of Force (UoF) and Management of Aggressive Behaviour (MOAB)
  • Functional ability with the Windows operating system and Windows Office software such as Excel and Word
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks
  • Familiarity with Tracktik is considered an asset
  • Superior customer service and professionalism
  • Above average English communication skills, both verbal and written; French is considered a strong asset
