What We're Looking For

  • A highly skilled Fleet Manager to join our team and drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and direct defined aspects of Client's fleet operations, ensuring efficient and effective use of company-owned and/or leased vehicles.
  • Oversee policy compliance and reporting, developing and implementing vehicle and equipment specifications and cost management programs.
  • Manage fleet department budget and develop and maintain outside vendor and service provider relationships.

A Day in the Life

  • Responsible for management duties related to assigned Client's vehicle fleet program and enforcement of fleet policy.
  • Initiates, monitors, and recommends adjustments to the Client's fleet policy to maximize the fleet's efficiency and profitability.
  • Escalation contact for Client's employees who have company-provided vehicles in matters related to the administration of the fleet policy.
  • The Fleet Manager develops and maintains an effective business relationship with Client personnel to provide effective fleet management services.
  • Primary contact with key suppliers of vehicles and related support services, maintaining a professional relationship that facilitates cost and service in the best interests of the Client.
  • Knowledgeable of, and advises Client on, fleet-specific regulatory matters and related fleet policy compliance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a business discipline.
  • 7-10 years Fleet Manager/Industry experience.
  • CAFM accredited.
  • Strong capabilities to effectively consult, influence, negotiate, and to lead change.
  • Strong rapport-building and effective relationship skills with persons having a broad range of backgrounds.
  • Demonstrated strategic thinking, project management, and planning capability.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment where deadlines are essential.
  • Strong communication skills (both verbal and written), strong presentation skills; an effective listener.
  • Fleet Industry knowledge.
  • Experience with presenting new ideas to executive level.
  • Proficient in at least one of the data visualizations tools, Excel; strong data mining skills.
