Position Overview
We are in search of a Fleet Manager to become a part of Element Fleet Management. As the leading independent fleet manager globally, we offer unparalleled products, services, and solutions to our clients.

As a Fleet Manager, you will oversee and guide specific elements of the Client's fleet operations. Your responsibilities will include ensuring compliance with policies and reporting related to the fleet, developing and executing vehicle and equipment specifications, and managing cost control programs. You will also be responsible for the fleet department's budget and nurturing relationships with external vendors and service providers.
Daily Responsibilities
- Manage duties associated with the assigned Client's vehicle fleet program and enforce fleet policies to ensure efficient and effective utilization of company-owned and/or leased vehicles.
- Collaborate with the Client to initiate, monitor, and suggest modifications to the Client's fleet policy aimed at enhancing efficiency and profitability while minimizing liability exposure, adhering to industry best practices.
- Serve as the escalation contact for Client's employees utilizing company-provided vehicles regarding fleet policy administration.
- Build and maintain effective business relationships with Client personnel to provide superior fleet management services and recommend enhancements to the Client's fleet policy and its administration.
- Act as the primary liaison with key vehicle suppliers and related service providers, ensuring a professional relationship that promotes cost-effectiveness and service quality while following fleet industry best practices.
- Stay informed about fleet-specific regulatory issues and advise the Client on compliance with fleet policies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant business field.
- 7-10 years of experience in fleet management or the industry.
- CAFM accreditation preferred.
- Proven ability to consult, influence, negotiate, and lead change effectively.
- Strong relationship-building skills with diverse individuals.
- Demonstrated strategic thinking and project management capabilities.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with strong presentation abilities.
- In-depth knowledge of the fleet industry.
- Experience in presenting innovative ideas to executive leadership.
- Proficient in data visualization tools, particularly Excel, with strong data analysis skills.
*This role offers a hybrid work arrangement, with in-office days on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.*
