Landscaping Team Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled Landscaping Supervisor to join our team at Horizon Landscape Contractors Inc.
Key Responsibilities- Hire, Supervise, and Schedule Staff: Lead a team of landscape professionals, ensuring efficient scheduling and effective supervision.
- Plan and Direct Grounds Maintenance: Develop and implement comprehensive grounds maintenance plans, ensuring the highest quality of work.
- Plan and Estimate Labour and Materials: Accurately estimate labour and material costs for projects, ensuring timely completion and budget adherence.
- Organize and Direct Construction of Decks and Decorative or Retaining Walls: Oversee the construction of decks, decorative walls, and retaining walls, ensuring compliance with safety standards and quality expectations.
- Plan, Manage, and Supervise Landscape Construction Work: Coordinate and supervise landscape construction projects, ensuring timely completion and customer satisfaction.
- Maintain Work Records and Logs: Accurately maintain records and logs of work completed, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Tender and Administer Contracts: Negotiate and administer contracts with suppliers and subcontractors, ensuring fair pricing and timely delivery.
- Requisition or Order Materials, Equipment, and Supplies: Procure materials, equipment, and supplies necessary for projects, ensuring timely delivery and quality standards.
- Resolve Work Problems, Provide Technical Advice, and Recommend Measures to Improve Productivity and Product Quality: Identify and resolve work-related issues, providing technical guidance and recommendations to improve productivity and quality.
- Establish Work Schedules and Procedures: Develop and implement efficient work schedules and procedures, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Landscape Construction: Expertise in landscape construction, including deck building, decorative wall construction, and retaining wall construction.
- On-the-Road Job: This role requires frequent travel to various job sites, ensuring flexibility and adaptability.
