About the Role

Ottawa Community Housing is seeking a highly skilled Talent Management Specialist to join our Human Resources team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing corporate learning and development programs that enhance the skills and knowledge of our employees.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement Corporate Learning Plans

Design and implement annual corporate learning plans that meet the needs of our organization and align with our strategic objectives.

Coordinate Learning and Development Activities

Coordinate and support the administration of learning and development activities, including training programs, workshops, and conferences.

Conduct Learning Needs Analyses

Conduct learning needs analyses to determine the training requirements of our employees and develop solutions to meet those needs.

Develop Training Materials and Content

Collaborate with subject matter experts to develop training materials and content that effectively achieve learning objectives.

Evaluate Program Effectiveness

Develop evaluation methods and tools to assess the effectiveness of our corporate learning and development programs.

Identify Continuous Improvement Opportunities

Monitor for and identify opportunities for continuous improvement in our learning and development programs.

Requirements
  • Education and Experience

A post-secondary degree in Human Resources or a related field, and a minimum of four years of related human resources experience in a unionized environment.

Skills and Abilities

Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational abilities, and the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders.

Knowledge and Certifications

Broad knowledge of human resources practices and procedures, and a Certified Human Resources Professional designation is preferred.
