Truck Driver Position Overview

Trans-Logic Truck Lines Ltd. is seeking a skilled Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team. As a Long Haul Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods across the country.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Logistics and Planning:
    • Coordinate travel arrangements and make reservations for efficient route planning.
    • Obtain necessary permits for international cargo transport to ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Vehicle Operations:
    • Drive trucks to transport goods safely and efficiently.
    • Inspect vehicle and perform routine maintenance to ensure optimal performance.
  • Communication and Record-Keeping:
    • Communicate with dispatch to receive updates and instructions.
    • Record relevant information, such as cargo details and delivery times.
  • Certifications and Licenses:
    • Air Brakes Endorsement is required for this position.
    • A valid Driver's License (Class 1 or A) is necessary for this role.
  • Security and Safety:
    • Undergo a Driver's validity licence check to ensure compliance with regulations.
    • Pass a drug test to ensure a safe working environment.
    • Undergo a medical exam to ensure fitness for duty.

    • Work in a sitting position for extended periods during work hours.
