Key Responsibilities
  • Transportation: Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Oversee the condition of the vehicle, inspecting tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Logistics: Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections, recording cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records, including driver logbooks and inspection reports.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring timely delivery and resolving any issues that may arise during transportation.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Will train.
  • Work Setting: Various locations.
  • Physical Capabilities: Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Personal Suitability: Judgement, organized, reliability, and team player.
Working Conditions

As a Long Haul Truck Driver with Prizm Carrier Inc, you can expect to work 40 to 60 hours per week, with a regular schedule and opportunities for advancement.
