- Load and Unload Goods: Load and unload goods from trucks, taking care to secure cargo and prevent damage.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Regularly inspect and maintain the condition of your vehicle, including tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment.
- Emergency Repairs: Perform emergency roadside repairs to ensure minimal downtime and maintain productivity.
- Record Keeping: Accurately record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
- Cargo Security: Ensure the safety and security of cargo during transportation.
- Certifications: Air Brake (Z) Endorsement and Driver's License (Class 1 or A)
- Documentation: Familiarity with driver logbooks and other documentation
- Security Clearance: Possession of a valid criminal record check
- Experience: Willingness to train and a minimum of permanent employment
- Language: Fluency in English
- Work Schedule: 40 to 60 hours per week
