Clinical Nurse Specialist

Are you passionate about providing high-quality nursing care? We are looking for a dedicated Registered Nurse who is committed to delivering exceptional patient support to become a vital part of our healthcare team at Northern Health Authority.
Reporting to the Head Nurse, the Operating Room nurse will be responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care and nursing activities, adhering to quality management principles and the established protocols of Northern Health Authority.
Work Schedule: 07:00 to 15:00, Rotating shifts
Compensation:
The new wage is: $59.52/hour

- Current registration with the BC College of Nurses and Midwives as a practicing RN.
- Completion of post-basic training and/or one year of recent clinical experience in an Operating Room or Post-Anesthesia Recovery setting, or equivalent experience.
- Participation in on-call rotation is required.
- Up-to-date immunization records.
- Successful completion of a Criminal Record Check.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven ability to manage assigned tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Demonstrated capacity to interact positively with a diverse range of individuals, including colleagues, physicians, community representatives, patients, and their families.
- Physical capability to fulfill the responsibilities of the role.
- Proficient in operating relevant medical equipment.
