Under the supervision of the Head Nurse, the Operating Room nurse is tasked with assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care and nursing activities, ensuring adherence to quality management standards and the policies of Northern Health Authority.
Work Schedule: 07:00 to 15:00, Rotating shifts
Compensation:
The current wage is: $59.52/hour

- Completion of post-basic training and/or a minimum of one year of recent clinical experience in an Operating Room/Post Anesthesia Recovery setting, or equivalent experience in critical care.
- Participation in on-call rotation is required.
- Up-to-date immunization records.
- Successful completion of a Criminal Record Check.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to organize workload and prioritize tasks efficiently.
- Proficient in interacting with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders, including colleagues, physicians, community representatives, patients, and their families.
- Physical capability to fulfill the responsibilities of the role.
- Competence in operating relevant medical equipment.
