ONroute Brand Manager in Training

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of assigned brands, ensuring sales and budgeted targets are met.
  • Execute ordering and inventory processes, ensuring accurate data entry and reconciliation.
  • Hire, train, coach, and develop team members, including Health & Safety training.
  • Deliver brand, audit, and customer service standards, ensuring compliance with ONroute policies and procedures.
  • Act as Manager-in-Charge when the General Manager or Associate General Manager is not present in the plaza.
Inventory and Ordering Accountability:

You are accountable for inventory levels at assigned brands, ensuring budgeted food cost targets are met. You will be responsible for ordering, receiving, storing, and reconciling inventory, as well as training and coaching team members on food cost management.

Brand, Audit, and Customer Service Accountability:

You will be responsible for ensuring all team members, Crew Members, and Shift Supervisors are trained to deliver results that meet or exceed brand, audit, and customer service standards. You will conduct self-audits and assessments, developing action plans to address opportunities and achieve the highest quality of customer service.

Team and Health & Safety Accountability:

You will be responsible for hiring, training, coaching, and developing team members, ensuring clear performance expectations and providing feedback, coaching, and training to ensure expectations are met. You will also be responsible for scheduling and achieving labour targets, ensuring proper coverage and customer service at all times.

Manager-in-Charge Accountability:

When the General Manager or Associate General Manager is not present in the plaza, you will be responsible and accountable as the Manager-In-Charge, ensuring the overall needs of the total plaza are your first priority.

Minimum Qualifications, Knowledge, and Competencies:
  • Requires 3-5 years of experience as a Supervisor or Manager in high-volume food and beverage or merchandise operations and/or other related management experience.
  • Experience with POS Systems, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Ability to lead by example and dedicated to training, coaching, and developing team members to deliver results.
  • Demonstrated exceptional customer experience focus.
  • Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills with excellent communication skills and approachability.
  • Sound operational experience and knowledge within the fast-food/food service industry.
  • Must have reliable transportation to get to and from the plaza.
