About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Network Support Specialist to join our team at 5centsCDN Inc. as a key member of our IT department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Network Administration: Maintain, troubleshoot, and administer the use of local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), mainframe networks, and computer workstations and peripheral equipment.
  • Hardware and Software Evaluation: Evaluate and install computer hardware, networking software, and operating system software to ensure optimal performance.
  • Problem-Solving: Provide problem-solving services to network users, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum productivity.
  • Data Management: Perform data backups and disaster recovery operations to ensure business continuity.
  • Network Setup and Maintenance: Set up local area networks and connections to the Internet, and implement network traffic and security monitoring software to optimize server performance.
  • Research and Development: Research and apply meta-data to Websites and register Websites with search engines to improve online visibility.
  • Customer Support: Respond to requests for help and information from Website visitors and Website designers, providing timely and accurate assistance.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise technical staff, providing guidance and support to ensure team success.

Requirements
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role
  • Permanent employment
  • English as the primary language of work
