Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Network Support Specialist to join our team at Veerteq Solutions Inc. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our computer networks and workstations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and Administer Network Infrastructure
    • Evaluate and install computer hardware, networking software, and operating system software to ensure optimal network performance.
    • Implement data, software, and hardware security procedures to protect our network and data.
  • Provide Technical Support
    • Offer problem-solving services to network users, ensuring prompt and effective resolution of technical issues.
  • Network Maintenance and Administration
    • Perform routine network start-up and close-down procedures, maintaining control records and ensuring network uptime.
    • Perform data backups and disaster recovery operations to ensure business continuity.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities
    • Work in a fast-paced IT environment, requiring attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Personal Suitability
    • Demonstrate accuracy, organization, and a strong work ethic in all aspects of the job.
  • Experience
    • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role, with a strong background in computer networks and IT systems.
    • Permanent employment with a competitive salary and benefits package.
    • 35 hours per week, with a flexible work schedule.
    • English language proficiency required.
