Job Summary

FIBERSERVE COMMUNICATIONS is seeking a highly skilled Network Support Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our technical staff, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and administering our networks, mainframes, and computer workstations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and administer network infrastructure, including routers, switches, and firewalls
  • Troubleshoot and resolve network-related issues in a timely and efficient manner
  • Evaluate and install new hardware and software to ensure optimal network performance
  • Provide technical support to network users, including training and documentation
  • Implement and maintain security procedures to protect network assets
  • Perform data backups and disaster recovery operations to ensure business continuity
  • Set up and configure local area networks and Internet connections
  • Supervise and mentor technical staff to ensure high-quality service delivery
Requirements
  • 1-10 years of experience in network administration and support
  • Strong knowledge of networking software and hardware, including routers, switches, and firewalls
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
