Required Qualifications and Skills:

  • Covid-19 vaccination is mandatory
  • Experience in healthcare or hospitality settings, with knowledge of engagement programs and mobility considerations
  • Ability to plan, organize, and oversee the delivery of various social services and special events
  • Compassion and understanding of the needs of the elderly and individuals with disabilities, including those living with dementia
  • Valid Class G/Class 5 driver's license in good standing (Ontario/Alberta IF APPLICABLE)
  • Clean Criminal Record
  • Successful completion of CPR/First Aid certification (IF APPLICABLE)
  • Successful completion of Safe Food Handler's certification (IF APPLICABLE)
  • Successful completion of Smart Serve/Pro Serve certification (Ontario/Alberta FOR MANAGEMENT ROLES)
  • Relevant professional experience in recreation or an equivalent certificate
