Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Health Care Worker to join our team at Alert Best Nursing and Home Care. As a Home Health Care Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our clients in the comfort of their own homes.

Responsibilities
  • Education and Training: A diploma or certificate in a related field, such as personal support work or nursing, is required.
  • Experience: A minimum of 1 year of experience in a related field, with a strong focus on providing care and support to seniors and individuals with disabilities.
  • Work Site Environment: Our clients' homes, which may involve working in a non-smoking environment.
  • Certifications and Licenses: A valid CPR Certificate, First Aid Certificate, and Personal Support Worker Certificate are required.
  • Target Audience: Adults, with a focus on seniors and individuals with disabilities.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: A combination of sitting, standing, and walking, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle physical demands such as lifting up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
  • Personal Suitability: A strong focus on punctuality, client focus, dependability, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, flexibility, initiative, judgement, organized, reliability, team player, patience, and honesty.
  • Screening Questions: A valid work permit, a permanent work term, and fluency in English are required.
