Director of Technology Strategy and Business Intelligence

Meridia Recruitment Solutions is seeking a visionary Director of Technology Strategy and Business Intelligence to lead our client's technology transformation journey. Reporting directly to the Vice President of Technology, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the organization's technological landscape and driving data-driven decision making.
As a key member of the Technology Senior Leadership Team, you will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive technology strategy that aligns with the company's overall business objectives. Your expertise in enterprise architecture, business intelligence, and data management will be instrumental in ensuring seamless integration across all business functions.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead the development, evolution, and ongoing management of technology architecture and standards across the organization, serving as the owner of enterprise architecture governance.
- Spearhead the creation, evolution, and ongoing management of business intelligence and data platforms and standards, assuming ownership of business intelligence and data governance.
- Drive successful organizational change management initiatives to foster widespread adoption of architecture governance among stakeholders across all levels.
- Ensure that technology architecture consistently aligns with and supports corporate objectives, policies, and established standards.
- Lead and mentor a team of technical professionals, encompassing hiring, performance management, and compensation administration.
- Contribute to the overall technology risk management framework.
- Provide guidance and support to solution and technical architects in developing technology requirements and systems architectures for business projects throughout the implementation process.
- Review and approve system architecture deliverables in accordance with established enterprise standards and methodologies.
- Oversee, guide, and educate technology professionals to cultivate alignment between business objectives and technology investment plans.
- Stay abreast of emerging products and technologies to assess their suitability for the organization's overall strategic goals and architectural vision.
- Proven experience as an Enterprise Architect, Data Architect, or Senior Solution Architect with a minimum of 5 years in relevant roles.
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
- Demonstrated understanding and application of modern enterprise-level business processes, data security, and technical infrastructure architecture knowledge.
- Ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts within a business context.
- Strong leadership capabilities to develop individuals and build collaborative working relationships.
