At Seasons Retirement Communities, we are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Dining Server to join our team. As a Dining Server, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional dining experiences to our residents and guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and serve meals to residents and guests, ensuring high standards of quality and presentation.
  • Take orders, set and strip tables, and serve food and beverages in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Unpack and store supplies, maintain a clean and safe work environment, and adhere to all applicable regulations.
  • Wash, clean, and sort dishes, cutlery, and equipment, and operate and clean food equipment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to ensure the smooth operation of the dining service.

Requirements:

  • Covid-19 vaccination is mandatory.
  • Current Safe Food Handler's Certification.
  • Ability to read and communicate effectively, and follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Demonstrate empathy and understanding of the needs of seniors.
  • Ability to organize work and work under strict time constraints.
  • High standard of hygiene and cleanliness.
  • Ability to operate related equipment.
  • Experience working in a kitchen is considered an asset.
  • Ability to lift up to and including 50 pounds is considered an asset.
  • All applicants must be legally entitled to work in Canada.
