About the Role

The Strategic Business Analyst plays a crucial role in managing and ensuring the successful execution of various initiatives and special projects within the Vice-President Finance & Administration portfolio. This position provides essential reporting and analysis that supports the strategic objectives of the University. Acting as a vital institutional resource and change agent, the Strategic Business Analyst offers professional guidance and recommendations to project managers and key decision-makers, including Vice-Presidents, Directors, and other senior leaders within the University.

This role also entails the development and preparation of impactful internal and external communication materials for priority projects and initiatives aligned with the University's strategic framework.

We seek a highly self-motivated candidate who can work independently with minimal supervision. Exceptional communication skills are essential for effective interaction across all organizational levels. Additionally, the ability to thoroughly analyze and interpret data, identifying and resolving issues as projects evolve, is critical.

Qualifications

Applicants should possess a Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field, along with five years of relevant experience in project management, research, financial data analysis, planning, report writing, and communications, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
