Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Recruiter - Employment Specialist to join our team at STAFF NOW INC. as a key member of our staffing department. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying current and prospective staffing requirements, preparing and posting job notices, and coordinating the selection and examination boards to evaluate candidates.

Key Responsibilities
  • Staffing Planning: Identify current and prospective staffing requirements to ensure adequate staffing levels and meet business needs.
  • Job Posting and Advertising: Prepare and post job notices and advertisements to attract qualified candidates.
  • Candidate Sourcing: Collect and screen applicants, and advise job applicants on employment requirements and terms and conditions of employment.
  • Candidate Evaluation: Review candidate inventories, contact potential applicants to arrange interviews, and participate in selection and examination boards to evaluate candidates.
  • Job Offer and Onboarding: Notify applicants of results of selection process, prepare job offers, and advise managers and employees on staffing policies and procedures.
  • Staff Development: Determine eligibility to entitlements, arrange staff training, and supervise personnel clerks performing filing, typing, and record-keeping duties.
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, and will be required to work under pressure to meet business needs. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and will be able to work effectively in a team environment.

Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
