We are seeking a highly skilled Recruitment Specialist to join our team at Great Connections Employment Services Inc.

Job Summary:

The Recruitment Specialist will be responsible for identifying current and prospective staffing requirements, providing information and services to employees, and advising job applicants on employment requirements and terms and conditions of employment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify current and prospective staffing requirements and provide recommendations to management
  • Provide information and services to employees, including employee assistance and counselling
  • Collect and screen applicants, and advise job applicants on employment requirements and terms and conditions of employment
  • Review candidate inventories and contact potential applicants to arrange interviews
  • Notify applicants of results of selection process and prepare job offers
  • Advise managers and employees on staffing policies and procedures
  • Determine eligibility to entitlements and arrange staff training
  • Supervise personnel clerks performing filing, typing and record-keeping duties
Requirements:
  • College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year, or equivalent experience
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field
  • Permanent employment with 33 to 35 hours per week
  • Language of work: English
Work Environment:

The Recruitment Specialist will work in a fast-paced environment, under pressure, with attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.
