Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior IT Security Analyst to join our team at Sleep Country Canada Inc. as a Cloud/Infrastructure Specialist. This is a critical role that requires a deep understanding of cloud and infrastructure security principles and practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough security assessments of cloud and infrastructure environments to identify vulnerabilities and recommend remediation strategies.
  • Develop and implement security policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement secure cloud and infrastructure solutions.
  • Monitor and analyze security event logs to identify potential security threats and take corrective action.
  • Provide expert guidance and support to IT teams on cloud and infrastructure security best practices.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging security threats and trends, and develop strategies to mitigate risks.
Requirements
  • 8+ years of experience in IT security, with a focus on cloud and infrastructure security.
  • Proven leadership abilities, including effective knowledge sharing, conflict resolution, and facilitation of open discussions.
  • Strong technical knowledge of cloud and infrastructure security technologies, including firewalls, intrusion detection and prevention systems, and security information and event management (SIEM) tools.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical information clearly and articulately to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions.
  • Experience with security certifications, such as CISSP, CISA, CEH, GIAC, or SANS.
